2008 Felt F2

2008 Felt F2

2008 Felt F2

The single largest evolution in frame design and manufacture is the development of the full molded carbon fiber frame. This design has taken durability, light weight, stiffness, aerodynamics and comfort to new levels. The 2008 Felt F2 uses an advanced version of molded carbon fiber frame manufacturing combined with a full Shimano Dura-Ace component kit. At an MSRP of $4349 (our price will vary, contact us at (313) 278-1350 for details) this makes the F2 a good buy.

The F2 also uses the up-spec Mavic Ksyrium SL wheelset with alloy, bladed, straight pull spokes. This is the component spec we see on many Tour de France bikes but at half the cost with fully comparable frame quality.

The F2 also uses Felt’s proven, versatile road geometry including steeper seat tube angles on the smaller frame sizes. This enables some riders to use aerobars on the F2 effectively. With this capability the F2 becomes a versatile tool for road riding, the highest level of mass start racing and even for Ironman competition. One of our customers rode a specially fitted F2 to a fine finish at Ironman Wisconsin and many have been used in half Ironman distance events and shorter triathlons.

The Felt F2 is a no-compromise bike in frame manufacture and design and in component spec. If you are researching a road bike with a high end component spec list and slightly steeper seat tube angle in many sizes the F2 may be a good candidate.
