2008 Felt B2 Pro

It’s always less expensive to upgrade up-front. The 2008 Felt B2 Pro at MSRP $5799 (our price will vary, contact us at (313) 278-1350 for details) is an example of that. If you are considering the purchase of a high end, full Dura-Ace equipped (including crank and brakes), full molded carbon fiber triathlon bike along with Zipp race wheels then do the math on the Felt B2 Pro: This bike saves you at least $1333.96 as compared to purchasing these items separately after your bike purchase. For this reason the B2 Pro is a logical “step-up” triathlon bike for the second or third year triathlete who just entered their first half Ironman or Ironman and doesn’t want equipment excuses.

The component spec on the B2 Pro is straightforward: It’s 100% Shimano Dura-Ace including cranks, bottom bracket and brake calipers. The cockpit includes Visiontech carbon fiber “R” bend aerobars (swappable for ski bends) and wing shaped, aluminum aero base bars with Vision aero brake levers. The wheels are the all-conditions Zipp 606 60 mm deep front, 80 mm deep rear racing clinchers. This wheelset has been proven at Kona and races with all wind and terrain conditions. Zipp race wheels were the #1 race wheel choice in Kona bike count statistics for years running.

If you are going to buy race wheels the B2 Pro makes economic sense. All the features of the new B2 are there: The superior frame design, hidden rear brake for improved aerodynamics, Bayonet front end for improved stiffness and handling, the industry’s best internal cable routing and great component spec. The new red/black color scheme is also very popular in ’08. The Bayonet front end takes triathlon bike handling to new places combining tri bike stability and comfort with road bike handling and responsiveness. The Bayonet front end climbs and descends with authority and confidence making the B2 Pro a tri bike you could ride on any bike course. This combination of stability and responsiveness is unique to the Bayonet front end.
