2008 Felt S32

2008 Felt S32.

2008 Felt S32

If the primary reason you are buying a new bike is to prepare for and participate in triathlons then your primary bike should be a triathlon bike. More people’s first tri bike has been a Felt S32 than any other tri bike we sell. Some of customers have taken there S32 all the way to an Ironman finish.

The S32 does such a nice job at the entry price point of $1449 (our price will vary, contact us at (313) 278-1350 for details) that most other manufacturers have simply stopped selling a tri bike at that price point. The S32 is also one of the longest running triathlon bike models in the industry with a long legacy of continuous upgrades and improvements.

The S32 is a well built and nicely designed 7005 aluminum custom butted tubing frame with an aerodynamic seat tube cut-out and bladed, airfoil shaped down tube. The 2008 S32 also uses a variable geometry seatpost for a wide fit band and a higher head tube borrowed from the same geometry used on Felt’s highest end triathlon bikes. The frameset is completed with an airfoil shaped, bladed carbon fiber fork.

For 2008 the S32 uses Shimano Dura-Ace bar end shifters, and Ultegra rear derailleur and 105 front derailleur combined with FSA’s Gossamer Mega-Exo crankset and bottom bracket. The cockpit is the dependable, adjustable Profile Aerolite aerobar mounted on zero degree rise base bars. Wheels are the same Shimano R500’s sold on bikes costing over a thousand dollars more. This is a solid, basic component spec. Overall the Felt S32 is everything you need for your first triathlon and well beyond at an affordable price.
