2008 Felt S22

2008 Felt S22

2008 Felt S22

If there is a sleeper category in the tri bike market in 2008 it is the sub-$2000 high end spec’ed aluminum triathlon bike. There are several bikes in this category and the 2008 Felt S22 is one of the nicest and the most has the most striking paint scheme. At $1939 MSRP (our price will vary, contact us at (313) 278-1350 for details) The S22 can be considered an entry level triathlon bike but the specification for the bike suggest differently.

The S22 makes full use of the highly evolved new 2008 Shimano Ultegra SL components with a Shimano Ultegra SL front and rear derailleur changing gears over an FSA Gossamer crank turning Felt exclusive TTR-3 deep section aerodynamic wheels. This is a high end component spec at an entry level price. Controlled by genuine Shimano Dura-Ace bar end shifters this bike makes no component compromises in the sub $2000 category.

The frameset completes the story with Felt’s hydro-formed, custom butted, 7005 fully airfoil shaped aluminum frame with a full carbon fiber molded wishbone seat stay, bladed, aerodynamic carbon fiber fork and airfoil shaped aerodynamic variable geometry seat post. The frame is truly credible with Felt’s new, refined triathlon geometry for 2008, the exact same geometry set used on their flagship B2 and DA models. Including the adjustable Profile cockpit to the S22 and you have a fine component spec for well below $2K. This is the triathlon bike you may never need to replace (or buy race wheels for!). The icing on the S22 cake is the TTR-3 wheelset that takes you from training to race day with excellent durability, race wheel aerodynamics and zippy looks.
