2008 Cannondale Slice

A bold departure from the company formerly known for domestically built aluminum bikes, the new 2008 Slice Aero from Cannondale is a highly evolved, full aerodynamic carbon fiber molded frameset.

We build Slice Aero’s up from framesets and sell them as complete bikes to your spec and from Cannondale’s original parts spec. Prices vary depending on the component spec and the combinations are almost endless.

The Slice is an integrated design borrowing aero design cues from many other bike designs such as the Cervelo P3C and P2C with its hourglass front profile on the head tube and Cannondale Speed Shadow wheel cut out. Unique to the Slice is the melding of the fork and frameset as an aerodynamic unit while maintaining a conventional head tube/steer tube configuration.

The slice achieves a versatile fit band with a variable geometry seat post making steep seat tube angles possible.

The Slice is a worthy first foray for Cannondale into the world of molded, aerodynamic triathlon bikes.
