2008 Quintana Roo Tequilo.

Quintana Roo Tequilo

Quintana Roo Tequilo

QR’s Tequilo is really a “super-Kilo” with a substantial component up-spec at an MSRP of $1999 (Our price varies, phone 313 278 1350 for details). For the additional cost over the Kilo you get:

    • Visiontech Aerodynamic wing base bars (round QR base bars on Kilo).
    • Bladed, aerodynamic, carbon fiber seatpost (aluminum on Kilo).
    • Shimano Dura-Ace front derailleur (Ultegra front derailleur on Kilo).
    • FSA SLK Mega Exo Carbon Fiber crank (aluminum crank on Kilo).
    • Dia Compe brake levers (Tektro on Kilo).
    • Alex 270 wheels (Alex 220’s on Kilo).

That is a lot of upgrades for a little money and an impressive parts spec for under $2000. This makes the Tequilo among the least expensive full-Dura-Ace derailleur and shifter equipped tri bikes in the industry.

The Tequilo uses the same aerodynamic, advance seat tube angle frame and frame geometry as the Kilo with its 78.5 degree seat tube angle and 72 degree head tube. If the stack and reach of the Tequilo is compatible with your measurements this is an impressive geometry set.

The Tequilo wears an angry-looking silver and black matt paint scheme with hot graphics that make it look like a pro level racing machine.

When you consider the Tequilo is the upgraded version of the most evolved triathlon bike in cycling history and among the lest expensive of the Dura-Ace drivetrain bikes it makes a compelling case to put the Tequilo on your short list.
