2010 Scott Plasma LTD.

Scott Plasma LTD
Scott Plasma LTD.

In the stratosphere of ultra-exotic super tri bikes there are some questionable technologies and there are some proven ones. Everything in the Plasma LTD is proven: No reinvention of the fork, braking or waterbottle. It all works, it’s all fast, you already know how to work on it (or your shop does.). While the basics are in place this design features a host of elegant refinements to improve aerodynamics, fit and ride comfort.

The component spec on this frame is what you would have done on your own after lot of research: The lightest component group, SRAM Red, ceramic bearings for lower bearing resistance, disk shaped, aerodynamic solid chainrings for stiffer, faster front shifting and lower drag, a carbon fiber Profile cockpit fully fittable with conventional stem, headset and elbow pads. A normally mounted front and rear brake (in other words, you can actually travel with this bike). A saddle you could sit on from Kona to Hawi and back again and the race wheels everyone is aspiring too- dimpled Zipps.

There is a lot to talk about with the Plasma Limited but we think you’ll find your first ride will leave you speechless.

MSRP: $8,499.99
