On Top. Rasa Poorman and I made the summit on a perfect day on an RMI 3-day summit climb. This was the third time (I think!) I made it to the summit in five attempts. Guides say the chances of making the summit are about 50/50. This is a conservative estimate if weather is average or better and you are highly determined and well trained. Good judgement, speed, training and good weather are major factors in making it to the top of Mt. Rainier.
